Battle of the Bands – Day 6 Recap
Round Two continued today and the competition is really starting to heat up!
First up, “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival marched past “Johnny B. Goode” in a matchup packed with classic rock power. Chuck Berry’s legendary guitar riffs put up a fight, but CCR’s protest anthem had the momentum and moves on to the next round.
Next, Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” absolutely blew past “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” Bonnie Tyler brought the drama and the power ballad energy, but Kelly’s breakup anthem dominated the vote and cruised into the next round.
And in the final matchup of the day, Linkin Park’s “In the End” proved that it’s not the end just yet. In a tight battle with Blink-182’s “All the Small Things,” the votes came down to the wire, but In the End pulled it out and advances.
Looking ahead to today’s matchup…
We’ll find out just how many friends in low places Garth Brooks really has as “Friends in Low Places” goes head-to-head with Tyler Childers’ “All Your’n.” It’s a country showdown that could go either way!
Students and staff, don’t forget to get your votes in and help decide who keeps dancing through the bracket and who heads home.
The Battle of the Bands rolls on!
