Battle of the Bands – Day 11

Yesterday’s matchup closed out Round 2 in emphatic fashion as “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne absolutely steamrolled “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence. The train keeps rolling and punches its ticket to the next round!

And now… the competition gets serious.
We’ve officially reached the Elite 8, where the best songs from each genre are facing off to see who moves one step closer to the championship.

 Today’s Matchup:
“Fortunate Son” (CCR) vs. “Call Me Maybe” (Carly Rae Jepsen)
Classic rock rebellion meets pop perfection — which one will move on?

Students and staff, make sure to get your votes in and help decide who advances!

 Teacher Tunes Trivia Update

Yesterday’s mystery teachers were Mr. Tubbs and Miss Maretta!

We are now halfway through our staff members, which means the challenge just got a little tougher. To earn the “big” prize, you now need to correctly guess both teachers for the day. If you guess one of the two correctly, you’ll still earn a small prize. Keep those guesses coming!

 Name That Tune Challenge

Don’t forget to check out the keyboards in both the elementary and high school buildings to see if you can name that tune!

Write down your guess, put your name on it, and drop it in the drum.
All guesses need to be in by the end of the week!
