The Lady Trojan squads traveled to Valley Christian High School in Missoula for two games on Tuesday, September 23rd.

The JV lost in 4 tough sets. Cambree Clark led the team with 3 aces while Piper Wetsch put down 4 kills. Beka Perry had 9 assists, and Natali Scheffel worked for 7 digs .

Varsity worked hard for a 4-set win against a strong homecoming crowd. Kimber Parsons led the team in aces and blocks with 4 in each category. The freshmen, Jacklyn Wetsch, contributed the most kills with 13, while Brooke Hicks defended like a champ with 30 digs. Charlee Cline put up 18 sets to round off the win against the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Trojans will face the Eagles again at home for Senior Night on October 23rd.

On Saturday, Sept. 20th, the Lady Trojans faced off against their division rival, the Manhattan Christian Eagles.

Varsity played a 5-set thriller, falling just short in the 5th set. Kimber Parsons led the team in multiple categories with 13 kills and 4 blocks. Hazel Sawfer also had a dominant game, serving up 6 aces and 19 digs. Kameron Wetsch led the team with 19 assists.

JV won in 3 straight sets! Piper Wetsch led with 3 aces and tied with 11 digs. Casey James added 11 digs to the team and 5 kills. Macey Anderson put up the team's single block while Beka Perry added 13 assists.

The C Squad 4 tight sets to come out with the win. Casey James had 5 aces while Macey Anderson contributed 8 kills. Dakota Parsons played great defense with 12 digs and added 8 assists for the team.

The Lady Trojans will travel to Manhattan Christian for a rematch on October 9th.

There has been a change to our schedule due to the addition of athletic activities. Parent teacher conferences have been moved to October 8th, 3:35-7pm. The Granite County Health Department will have immunizations on site for your student's convenience on Wednesday, October 8th from 8:30am-9:45am. Forms may be picked up in the office. In order for a student to receive any vaccination, a completed form signed by a parent/guardian must be presented at that time.

Next week, the Drummond seniors will be applying to college using Apply Montana's free comprehensive application. Montana residents are able to apply to in-state schools FOR FREE! Private colleges will also have their applications for free through Oct. 3rd.

What do you need? Basic student information includes name, phone number, address, and social security number.

The application process will be guided by Mrs. Larson during Advisory on Tuesday, September 30th.

On Thursday, September 18th, the Lady Trojans swept the Shields Valley Lady Rebels at a well-attended homecoming match.

Varsity rounded out the night with a 3-set win. Brooke Hicks served 3 aces while Hazel Sawfer worked the backline for 14 digs. Kimber Parsons led in kills with 10 and blocks with 2, and Charlee Cline assisted with 15.

JV fought hard in 4 sets for a win. Stat leaders include Macey Anderson with 3 aces and Piper Wetsch with 5 kills. Beka Perry put up 10 assists, while Matilda Hessler and Dakota Parsons tied in digs at 11 each.

C Squad cleanly won in 3 sets. Macey Anderson led with 6 aces while Hailey Suthers put up the team's one block. Anderson also led in kills with 4, while Matilda Hessler defended with 9 digs, and Dakota Parsons put up 11 assists.

The Lady Trojans had a strong start to homecoming week with a 3-squad sweep of the Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks.

The Varsity squad won in 3 sets. Hazel Sawfer led the team with 6 aces while Kimber Parsons scored 11 kills at the net. Freshman Jacklyn Wetsch led the team with 2 blocks while her cousin Kameron Wetsch set up 15 assists. On the floor, Brooke Hicks led the team with 15 digs.

The JV team fought hard through 4 close sets to win out against the Blackhawks. Piper Wetsch led at the service line with 4 aces while Beka Perry tallied the team's only block. Natali Scheffel put down 7 kills with Perry providing 17 assists and leading in the back row with 12 digs.

The C Squad also battled through 4 sets to open the night. Dakota Parsons had 3 aces and 6 assists, while Macey Anderson scored 4 kills. Matilda Hessler led the squad with 6 digs in a great defensive performance.
