TODAY: Tuesday, October 25th, there will be a pep club meeting during advisory period in the sewing room. TOMORROW: Wednesday, Oct. 26th the High School and Jr. High will attend a presentation by Dr. Heather DiBlasi focusing on avoiding drugs and vaping, and bullying. The presentation will take place in the Auxilary Gym at 2PM. COMING UP: Thursday, October 27th, this is the end of the quarter. The District Volleyball tournament will take place at Valley Christian High School. There will be a pep assembly at 11am in the New Gym for K-12th to send our Volleyball players off to district and our Football players to the first round of playoffs. The Lady Trojans will play the winner of the Granite/Victor game at 2:45pm. The Titans will play host to Park City on Saturday, October 29th at 1pm in Drummond. Reminder: For the past two years, school lunches have been free of charge to our families through federal programs due to the Covid pandemic. This year, however, we are again charging for school breakfasts and lunches. School lunch bills are mailed out at the first of every month with payments due by the 20th of each month. Red Ribbon Week started after the death of Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who in 1985 was brutally murdered by drug traffickers he was investigating in Mexico. **JH Boys Basketball** Mandatory parent meeting will be on Monday, 10/24, right after school in the cafeteria. All athletes need to have all their paperwork (physical, concussion, permission) turned in to be able to practice. If they played football, they should be good to go. Practice will start directly after the parent meeting in the old gym.

Sun Mountain Lumber, as a part of National forestry week, has opened their doors for a tour this week. Mr. Bowey has sent out a list of those students who will be gone. Tomorrow on Wednesday, October 12th, a flu clinic will take place at the school from 9:30-11am for students and staff. If you want your child/children to receive a flu vaccination, please print, complete, and return the printable form that can be found on our website under documents: state/school. Students cannot be vaccinated unless they have a completed form with them.

Victor VB and JHFB teams will be traveling together today due to bus issues, and therefore there are time changes for both games. The JHFB will take place at 4:30pm and the Lady Trojans will also be starting at 4:30pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
