Wednesday, January 11th, Granite County High School will host an open public gathering at 6:30PM in the cafeteria to give information on the upcoming MHSA appeal meeting that will happen on Saturday, January 14th, at 8:45AM in Missoula.

Please dismiss the girls JV players at 1:45pm. There will be a JHGBB parent meeting right after school today in the Science room with a short practice to follow.

School Notice:
Due to the continued extreme weather forecast, Drummond Schools will be canceling school on Wednesday, Dec. 21st. From the National Weather Center, "If there ever was a scenario when discretionary travel across the region should be avoided, this is that time." With the safety of our students and staff at the forefront of this decision, today will be the last day of school before our winter break. All activities on Wednesday will also be canceled. I wish you all a happy holiday season.

Parents: We are watching the weather predictions closely and they continue to look dangerous on Wednesday, Dec. 21st. The safety of our students is always at the forefront of our decisions. With that, it is highly likely that school will be cancelled on Wednesday unless weather forecasts change drastically. 5-8 th Grade Girls Basketball
Girl’s basketball for grades 5-8 will start Tuesday, Jan. 3 with practice from 3:45
until 5:30 P.M. in the old gym. Players are reminded that they need to have a current physical, signed permission slip/training rules, and signed concussion form before they can practice. They also need to have an activity ticket and pay the athletic participation fee.
There will be a mandatory parent/player meeting at 3:40 in the Science
room/high school on Tuesday, January 3 rd before the first practice.

The 6th graders are in the process of mummifying chickens as we study Ancient Egypt! We’re pretty early in the process so the birds are still a little stinky, but we’re already seeing changes. 7 days down only 53 more to go!
The groups decided to name their chickens as well so she have Hen Tut, Hen Tut II, Cluckopatra, and Bobby. 😁🐔
