Today: Thursday, October 27th, this is the end of the quarter. Grades are due to the office first thing Monday morning. The District Volleyball tournament will take place at Valley Christian High School. There will be a pep assembly at 11am in the New Gym for K-12th to send our Volleyball players off to district and our Football players to the first round of playoffs. The Lady Trojans will play the winner of the Granite/Victor game at 2:45pm. COMING UP: The Titans will play host to Park City on Saturday, October 29th at 1pm in Drummond for the first round of playoffs. The Juniors/Seniors will be hosting a tailgate at 12pm. Election Vote Update: The ballot measure has unofficially passed in favor of allowing the use of funds to purchase property and to build employee housing. Reminder: For the past two years, school lunches have been free of charge to our families through federal programs due to the Covid pandemic. This year, however, we are again charging for school breakfasts and lunches. School lunch bills are mailed out at the first of every month with payments due by the 20th of each month. Red Ribbon Week started after the death of Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who in 1985 was brutally murdered by drug traffickers he was investigating in Mexico. **JH Boys Basketball** Mandatory parent meeting will be on Monday, 10/24, right after school in the cafeteria. All athletes need to have all their paperwork (physical, concussion, permission) turned in to be able to practice. If they played football, they should be good to go. Practice will start directly after the parent meeting in the old gym.

Sun Mountain Lumber, as a part of National forestry week, has opened their doors for a tour this week. Mr. Bowey has sent out a list of those students who will be gone. TOMORROW: Thursday, October 20th, there will be no school. The Lady Trojans will travel to Darby for games beginning at 5:30pm. Their bus will be leaving at 2:15pm. Friday, October 21st, the Titans will travel to Simms for a game at 7pm. The JHFB team will also travel to Simms for a game at 4pm.
