AG Days! On May 3rd, the 7th-12th Graders participated in Ag Day. They were welcomed to the Ranch at Rock Creek which is listed as The World’s First Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Ranch. They were able to learn about the hospitality industry in a ranch setting, and were served lunch by the Ranch’s chef and his crew. This was a tremendous opportunity that many people will never be able to experience, so Mrs. Hauptman WE THANK YOU for setting this up for the students and chaperones! The K-6th Grader experienced Ag Day on April 24th. They visited the Sugar Loaf Wool Mill in Hall owned and operated by Ed and Sue James and Hogan’s Elevator also in Hall which was featured on “Montana Moments”. They also enjoyed workshops by Emily Black (Forest Culturist with the USFS), Ben Hauptman (Granite Co. Ext. Agent), Maddie and Gracie Yakos (DHS Students/horsemanship), and Lindsay Orem (Agucation Resources and a rancher at Wolf Creek). Thanks again to Mrs. Janet Hauptman for all her work to arrange these education opportunities for our students.
