We will be sharing in a few posts some of the work that was done over the summer months. Our staff of three and a student helper worked hard this summer to get our school in shape for this school year. First, we spruced up the parking lot/playground areas by sealing the asphalt, painting some fresh lines, and adding a whole bunch of rubberized mulch to the areas. It sure made things look fresh and will help keep everyone safe this year! Thanks to Tim Berzinger, Craig Roper, Jennifer Wagy, and Kaiden Huberg. #WeAreDrummond!

Nao Fukumoto came and gave a presentation about Japan on September 10. She taught us a dance, a few words, and some other fun facts about Japan. It was a fun experience for our students!

The 10th graders & 7th graders took the ir annual field trip to the Fairmont Clark Fork watershed and the Berkley Pitt in Butte. A bit windy but a good day.

Yesterday, the Seniors gathered at the football field to watch the sunrise. #SeniorSunrise2024. Superintendent Phillips volunteered to cook them breakfast. Although the sunrise was less than eventful due to the smoke cover, we were told the breakfast was well worth the early wake up time. #WeAreDrummond.

The Drummond School Shop would like to extend a huge thank you to the Montana State Fund and Reach Higher Montana, who have awarded the Shop 2, $850 grants to update and replace the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). In the grant we received welding jackets, helmets, gloves and googles. We also received hearing protection, safety glasses, and work gloves. Drummond School is honored to be chosen for this award, and we are grateful to the programs who have provided us with this opportunity.
